Senior Systems Developer
Our headquarters are based in Coventry, Warwickshire and we have a second office in Hitchin, Hertfordshire. These positions are required to work out of the Hitchin location but travel to, and working at client office locations, should be expected so flexibility is a key requirement.
We are looking for experienced developers to join our Systems and Solutions Group. We are building a team to work alongside our Application Architect and Analyst resources to provide input to third party solutions, development expertise in a number of areas and delivery capability around project and support activities.
Ideally your development experience will include one or more of the following. Applicants with a range of development skills and the proven ability to take on new skill sets will be desirable:
- J2EE
- VB 6.0
- Oracle 10g
- SQL Server
- J2EE
- JCAPS
- VB.Net
- Delphi
- Edge Connect
- Crystal Reports 10
- Business Objects
- Web CMS technologies
In particular, technical experience based around a SOA based environment will be of interest.
The successful candidate will be a confident communicator who is willing and able to deliver business solutions. The key skills that you need are the ability to provide a technical review of third party proposals and estimates, provide delivery estimates within tight timescales, input to the technical strategy for a range of applications and solutions, provide resolution to application issues and deliver projects. Experience of the full development lifecycle is essential.
