Technical Architect\Strategic Consultant –Virtualisation, VMware, Citrix & VDI

We are now seeking to expand our successful virtualisation capability by recruiting a Technical Architect focussed on the areas of Server virtualisation, VDI and Citrix
Candidates will possess a significant number of the following key technology skills and certifications
VMware vSphere 4.0, VI3.5, ESX, vCenter, View / VDI, ThinApp, Capacity Planner, SRM. Certified to VCP level
Microsoft Hyper-V, App-V / Softgrid, Remote Desktop Services / Terminal Services 2008, MED-V, SCVMM, SCOM Certified to MCSE, MCITP Level
Citrix XenServer , XenDesktop, XenApp, CAG, NetScaler, Branch Repeater, Essentials. Certified to :CCA, CCAA, CCEA, CCEE, CCIA level
Complementary technologies from vendors including Vizioncore, Veeam, Platespin, Neverfail, Doubletake.
A solid understanding of the storage, network and server infrastructure required to support all of the above We are seeking exceptional candidates who can engage and influence our customers are at the most senior levels. With an excellent technical background enabling them to operate as Technical Architects our Consultants augment technical ability with strong customer facing skills and extensive leadership, deployment or consulting experience. However, technical excellence is not enough, it must be coupled with business understanding, clear thinking, commercial awareness and political acumen in order to develop, articulate and deliver solutions that meet our customers’ needs.
These are fully developed, self sufficient customer facing roles, focussed on customer satisfaction, service delivery and profitability. Successful applicants will be highly professional, well presented, authoritative and credible, with 5+ years of commercial consulting experience.
These roles are challenging and diverse. Our Strategic Consultants also deliver leadership and technical assurance to our project teams and provide engagement support to our sales force. This will include presentations, solution development activities and production of formal tender documentation.
We are also asked to provide speakers for Vendor events, so candidates’ excellent presentation skills should ideally extend to speaking to large audiences.
