strategic consultant Web Application Architect

We are seeking to supplement our consultancy capabilities by recruiting additional Web Application Architects focussed on the areas of application development leadership, application architecture, SOA / SaaS / S+S and best practice accessibility.

Candidates should have at least four years experience in Microsoft focussed web application development (such as ASP.NET), have a broad knowledge and experience of software development in general and a good understanding of infrastructure.

As a Web Application Architect you will have the following responsibilities:

• Working across full project lifecycle, from pre-sales and requirement definition to implementation
• Production of detailed Architectural component specifications
• Taking full technical responsibility for all stages of the life cycle for software development
• Production and maintenance of Technical Documentation

The successful Web Application Architect will require:

• 4 years experience in Microsoft focussed web application development
• 3 years experience in commercial consulting
• Excellent presentation skills
• Ability to engage with a client at all levels of seniority
• Demonstrable skills in the Pre-Sales and Delivery arenas

Successful Web Application Architect will ideally have experience of the following:

• Microsoft Content Management Server
• Enterprise Architecture methods such as TOGAF
• ISA Server
• Identity and Access Management
• ADFS
• Windows Azure Platform, Geneva Framework / Server and Card Space
• Java development
• Usability Design
• Application Lifecycle Management
