Warwick District Council achieves transactional status
Warwick District Council’s Content Management Server based website is in the top 10 shire websites in the UK, and has been awarded ‘transactional’ status by the Society for IT Managers (SOCTIM).
Michael Branson, web development manager at Warwick District Council states: “Our council, in partnership with Trinity, has worked really hard to develop our website to meet the needs of our residents. It’s great to be recognised by SOCITM for our hard work in this area.”
The council worked with Trinity Expert Systems to design and develop a website based on Microsoft’s Content Management Server. This technology allowed Warwick District Council to incorporate accessibility and e-government standards into the website design from the start.
Branson continues: “We were delighted to be awarded transactional status for our website by SOCITM. To be in the top 10 shire district websites in the UK is a great achievement for us, and reflects the commitment and investment we have made to delivering an excellent website for our residents.”
Steve McDonagh, CEO, Trinity Expert Systems comments: “We’ve worked in close partnership with Warwick District Council on a number of IT projects, and are delighted that the council has achieved such a high accolade from SOCITM.”
