Trinity cares at Christmas
5th January 2007
Charitable employees of Trinity Expert Systems (Trinity) rallied around in December 2006 to help a local children’s centre at a time of year when it is needed the most.
Working alongside its partner Coventry Cares, Trinity chose to take part in the ‘Cares at Christmas’ campaign. The campaign is aimed at encouraging employees to get together and collect inexpensive gifts for people from a disadvantaged background that may not experience the exchange of gifts at Christmastime.
Trinity chose to support Hillfields Children’s Centre. Open throughout the year, the centre is committed to providing high quality integrated services to meet the needs of local children and their families.
The families they support speak over 37 different languages and many of the families do not have extended family support in the area and look to the centre for guidance and support.
Trinity’s employees collected vast amounts of children’s toys, gifts, clothes, toiletries and other items to help the whole family to enjoy the festive period.
Mark Doyle, Chairman of Trinity says “The centre was overjoyed when we took all the gifts donated by members of staff. They said the gifts would definitely go towards making a deserving child’s Christmas more special.’
