Watson Burton - New intranet

Watson Burton LLP has engaged Trinity Expert Systems (Trinity) to lead the implementation of its new corporate intranet.

The partnership with Trinity provides Watson Burton with the skills required to develop an intranet tailored to the business’s requirements. The final solution will be deployed to 280 users across its three sites in the UK.

The aims of the intranet are to improve internal communications, streamline administrative processes and provide a central point for the management of re-usable legal content. It will also integrate a number of web based applications already running within the firm.

Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 (MOSS) was selected to provide the comprehensive content management and collaboration functionality that will facilitate information sharing across the business. MOSS enables businesses to have comprehensive control over information and allows users to centrally store, manage and access electronic content in a user friendly and efficient way.

Throughout the project Trinity will be providing Watson Burton with consultancy, development of the MOSS platform, skills transfer and advice on best practice and user adoption.
