Trinity attends Microsoft’s invitation-only Office 365 Ignite in Dublin

In recognition of their participation in the Microsoft online community, Trinity Expert Systems Ltd recently attended the coveted invitation-only Microsoft Office 365 Ignite in Dublin on 7 – 10 February 2011.

The Microsoft Office 365 Ignite is a four day training workshop extended to key customers and partners, of which Trinity was one of only four partners. Trinity’s Head of Information Worker Solutions, Matt Groves (www.mattgrovesblog.com), represented Trinity to learn about the future capabilities of the Microsoft Office 365 Suite.

Microsoft Office 365 is the next generation of the Microsoft Business Productivity Online Suite (BPOS), bringing together the Office desktop suite with cloud versions of their communications and collaboration products including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online and Lync Online, and is delivered as a subscription service hosted by Microsoft.

The workshop covered a wide variety of topics ranging from on-boarding, deployment, management, migration and security in a series of presentations and hands-on labs. Matt Groves says “Office 365 will offer all businesses regardless of their size or IT budget, enterprise class services at a fraction of the price of on-premise solutions with almost zero lead time on deployment.”

The Microsoft Office 365 Suite is currently in a limited Beta, however over the coming months, Trinity will be helping clients to realise the power of the cloud, and how they can capitalise on next generation cloud solutions.
