WDC - SOCITM review

Warwick District Council’s Content Management Server based website has been ranked in the top 20 out of all 468 local authority sites in the UK by the annual SOCTIM review.
The site has been given an ‘excellent’ rating for useful content and has maintained the ‘transactional’ status it achieved in 2006. The council is also in the top 30 nationally for the increased usage of the site over the past 12 months.
SOCITM is the Society for IT Managers and its annual review is the most comprehensive carried out on local authority and public sector websites.
A spokesperson from SOCITM calls the site an 'extremely useful website which is easy to use and comprehensive.'
Trinity Expert Systems has worked with Warwick District Council on a number of projects including the design and development of the council’s website. The council is continually looking to improve the accessibility of the site and to ensure it meets all e-government standards. It has recently been awarded with the Shaw Trust web accreditation which ensures the website is accessible to the highest standards to people with various disabilities.
